‘You will be well’ is a collage series around the cult of well-being. Every day, we let ourselves be seduced by things that promise us will make ourselves better. From cosmetics to yoga to nutritional supplements. Everything is used to improve ourselves cognitively and physically. It is as if “normal” is no longer sufficient.

The medium collage precedes the start of a new series of works. By working with pieces of found material, I can present my ideas in an unfiltered way. The individual parts evoke ideas from our collective memory that deal with archetypes around environment and body, possessions.
